Review: Extremely tedious spectacle. Attempt to combine dzhiallo, religious themes in a heap failed.
Very tight, and a slow development. Religious fanaticism, self-flagellation scene – the film is full it even bloody scenes did not make the “joy” in the view of this masterpiece.
The only bright spot – the last Kapnist role of Mary, as always, expressive and charismatic.
And the rest, wasting time browsing.
