Description: Banned in Canada. Great Britain, and Germany at the time of its release in 1999, Urban Flesh follows a savage group of cannibals as they brutally kill and devour their human prey, Inspector Vincent Blake takes it upon himself to try and stop the carnage. The main actor Martin Dubreuil also played in a rape/revenge movie Seven Days
Review: The original 1999 cut of the film gave the cop more screen time, but when the 2007 edit was made, the director decided that the film could be cut down to focus more on the gore that splatter fans want. While giving the film a much higher percentage of gore, it also streamlined the story to its basic form. The end result is a movie that is not for the casual horror viewer, but an excellent example of an underground splatter film.
