Description: Group of medical students went to the mountains to spend a few days on vacation. Instead of entertainment in the idyllic places of Norwegian snow landscape young people fall into a nightmare – they have to fight for their lifes in a battle with the once missing during the war German soldiers, which now turned into zombies.
One of the reviewers: Anyway… the movie. You know the movie by now. Snowmobile-riding twenty-somethings versus Nazi zombies. Film just writes itself, doesn’t it? Director/co-writer Tommy Wirkola has given us an affectionate homage to zombie flicks and middle-of-nowhere dead-teen flicks (The Evil Dead in particular) that amuses without tilting over into shtick or destroying our sympathy for the involved characters. His splatter is inventive, his setups effective; a good deal better than the average horror-fan opus, this one. The movie has so many things speaking in favor of it. It has a well thought-out plot, it has all the wonderful stereotypes of a horror movie in place, and more than anything, it follows the rules of the genre to the note.
Initially, I did not expect anything from the “Dead Snow” film, and I advise you to tune masterpiece. Nevertheless, I liked the movie. It is difficult to say that this horror, if the director thought that for such a genre only need a lot of meat and liters of blood, he was wrong. If you do not disgusting to look at the whole hour dismemberment, you will be satisfied. On a personal zombie, there’s some uncertainty. Usually stupid zombies, they only meat and serve, and here we see how they think, and do not you just eat and clog hammers, clubs, etc. That’s what happens to a person after the bite, and remains unknown.
Movie I watched with my young man, and both of us it seemed pretty ridiculous. After every absurd action, we looked at each other and started laughing, and only those frames in the movie plenty, believe me! That only is a love scene in the toilet. The guy went for, and here she flies to him and begins to pester him, given the fact that the toilet in the street and at least -10 `C, and even begins to undress. Do you think at this point, and they eat a vicious zombie Nazis … but no! After a few seconds the young people end … and she is left alone on her way to the toilet, then you blow it, and right in the hole. In general, the film lacks side, over which a good laugh.
Also I liked the film Dead Snow very much for the beautiful scenery and music. So if you watch a movie in the company, it is quite reasonable!
Review #2: Finally, my two upper limbs, which people call “hands”, and to have reached this movie. Speaking of “Operation Dead Snow” is hard not to notice the country of manufacture, Kojima was Norway. To tell you the truth from the Norwegians this film I was not expecting … in a bad sense of the word. Why, I asked myself after watching after excellent trilogy Cold extraction (better known in Russia under the name Lost) Norwegian cinema fallen so low?
However, I will now tell you about my indignation.
Plot of the Dead Snow
The first half of the first impose more boredom than interest. Even the opening scene is a dream going. In addition to her there were also exploring the characters in the film, the strange wanderer tells about the terrible events, some light hints of the existence of supernatural forces … that is before us at first seems dull typical horror movie, where only close to the end of all kill five minutes apart a couple of people who were at the end, too, certainly will finish. But when begins the second part of the film … There is already know where this film is the most beguiling. Incredibly brutal murder, joke of the flat immediately become wildly funny, and the feeling of sleeping immediately gives way to a sense of increased doses of epinephrine.
Talking about the story I’d give it a 9 points, but there was such a thing in this movie that asks to understate the point. I mean all sorts of misunderstandings and mistakes. Well, look – like a man who is afraid of the sight of blood (which in itself is a paradox, because he wants to go to study at the surgeon), cut those zombies left and right, and when his girlfriend scratched his finger on the knife he was ready to faint fall? Or what was the fate of the show for a long time a guy who ironically syudby tried to survive on its own, if at the end of it … Now, however, I will not spoil anything, but I will say that it was just a stupid nowhere.
Actors \ characters.
Recall the first cold extraction. Whole-only 5 guys, but almost all of the time was dedicated to the disclosure of their characters, which is why it was a pity when one of them killed the maniac, and then the actors coped with their roles beyond praise. What we see in the Dead Snow? From this rather big count of main characters I felt sorry for the fate of only three (Roy (Stig Frode Henriksen), Hanna (Charlotte Frogner) and Vegard (Lasse Waldau)), and the remaining characters and beckoned to take a hatchet and rode them in their stupid heads. Actors, besides the above three, played as bad all the time replayed. Devchenka kamikaze laugh, of course, but I do not think that there was a bet on the humor, the scene looked so frankly silly. Disappointed and Germans zombies, what could I just could not wait.

I was recommended this movie by a mate, who really liked this movie. I, unfortunately, didn’t share his views.
The best bit of this movie is definitely the gore and the ways in which the victim’s meet their demise. Unfortunately, the movie had too many plot holes. I also didn’t like the characters very much. Finally, the first half an hour or so of the movie was pretty boring.

I loved this film… Probably one of the best Nazi zombie films ever made… I was really surprised how fun this movie was… I saw the trailer, and took a chance… I’m glad I did… However, the sequel was not as good, but still fun!
