| Storyline Here’s a little gem I came across a few years ago. I have not seen it anywhere else. It’s a nasty rape flick Philippines-style crossed with a super serious morality drama – news flash folks: rape is bad. Anyway, hot chicks get brutalized by a gang of (not so believable) pretty boy gangsters. There’s all kinds of weeping and moaning throughout so it’s played straighter than your typical exploitation fare. It’s actually pretty good for what it is and even though it’s all in Tagalog with no English subtitles it kept my attention. I mean, seriously, how much Tagalog do you need to know to “get” a sleazy gang rape scene (55 minutes in)? That scene alone is worth the price of admission. It’s grim, dirty and well-done. | |
