Description: Revenge is a dish best served cold. This truth in his own experience knew a retired COP Eddie burns, that just as the count of Monte Cristo made not him. In Eddie’s life, who gave 15 years “slaughter” the division of the city of Reno, horrendously ominous developments puts the mysterious disappearance of his sister. Burns is a Pro, he didn’t need much time to understand what is happening. He guessed that was the victim of devilishly ingenious revenge. That’s just who and what he was going to retaliate? To answer this question, the veteran will have to remember some dark facts of the past. A past that is not as polished as it used to be considered…
Seriously, where has this film been all my life? Think hilariously misjudged modern day rape/revenge western meets 8MM, well, kind of. Ving Rhames dresses like he’s in an actual western as a retired cop with a gimpy arm. Gary Oldman is a weaselly demented porn producer with a grudge against aforementioned ex-cop who decides to get Kerry Washington (Rhames sister) hooked on smack so he can film her while a bunch of Asian businessmen in masks run a rapey train on her ass, then send the tape to big bro! We get flashbacks, existential dialogue, “diplomatic immunity!”, dildos, hookers, severed limbs, fucking quicksand and Brian Cox as a ballbusting police captain that wants everything done “by the book goddammit!”. Enjoy!
