Description:
Plot-wise, this slice of b-movie bliss pays homage to those ol’ b-westerns of yesteryear – and even features aging matinee cowboy stars Lash LaRue, Sunset Carson, and Wild Bill Cody in some of their last performances ever (the last, in some cases). Here, an alien ship crashes in a rural North Carolina community – and the next thing you know, extra-terrestrial critters on a killin’ rampage (a full two years before some guy named Schwarzenegger did a similar thing in a much bigger-budgeted movie). Fortunately, there are some ol’ gunslingers just-a-hankerin’ to scratch those itchy trigger fingers. The pot is sweetened by the only on-screen appearance of makeup artist Kari Anderson in extremely short shorts, who also does battle with the baddies. Imagine a Don Dohler movie made by Phil Smoot and you pretty much have ALIEN OUTLAW in a nutshell. A sequel, The Dark Power, followed.

The gun-wielding Pocahontas (Kari Anderson) is quite a type of a gal and quite a sight too.
Still I have the impression that the opening titles animation must have been the most expensive about the whole film.
Amateurish and cheesy, sometimes quite funny, most times rightous ridiculous.
