Review: Such a huge filmography, like Jesus Franco (Revenge in the House of Usher, Daughter of Dracula) has, can boast only Joe D Amato.
The first thing I want to mention an interesting and well-staged scene. Here, the filmmakers did not try to show a realistic, detailed and bloody scenes of violence against people of zombies, more emotion and tense atmosphere made the film simply incomparable. In the final outcome the director managed to create a very realistic, fascinating and frightening atmosphere hellish desert. Acting also deserves praise.
Despite the fact that the screen time allotted zombies not so much, it does not make the film boring, the opposite effect develops rapidly and allows the viewer to break away from the screen. Of the downsides of the film can be seen only just not a very good zombie makeup. In Oasis of the Zombies, like in the most Franco’s movies starrs his wife Lina Romay, known for a lot of erotic picturesm like Vampire Blues and Gestapo’s Last Orgy, made in 1977
