Description: Betty is a thirteen year old immigrant from the south trapped in a seedy neighborhood of Turin.
Her options are fairly clear yet limited – a life of prostitution, drugs, criminals and violence. While she aspires for a better life, the only option available to her is a social care center and its persistent official who insists on dragging her back to it despite her repeated escape attempts the one hand.
She tries to maintain a basic instinctive purity while trying to fend off predators around who attempt to goad her into a world of prostitution.
