Description: In the distant future, and after six world wars, the world is divided into two factions. The Alphas are genetically and mechanically enhanced humans that control the earth. The rebels are non-enhanced humans that are in opposition to the Alphas. A truce is negotiated between the leaders of the factions in order to send a joint mission through a wormhole in order to find and explore the dark planet. What the rebel commander on the mission does not know is that the alpha commander has a hidden agenda on the mission. He is willing to eliminate everyone, including his own men in order to carry out the secret mission. With the help of a previous traveler through the worm hole, the rebel commander is able to arrive at the dark planet as planned. Now they control who comes through the wormhole and they are determined to not allow a military presence on the new home for humans.
This is actually a pretty good movie. Maybe my view is jaded by my undying love for Michael York, or maybe I’m just able to see past the shitty effects and look at the story underneath.
