Description: Right, one for the anarchists among you here… This is an adaptation of a BS Johnson novel, that flits between 17th century Italy and 20th century London (not always very well!!), to recount a tale about a man who is so frustrated with his humdrum job, he creates a way of life that goes on the premise that “For every credit, there must be a debit”. In other words, for every thing that fucks the film’s protagonist off (parking ticket, excessive taxes), he makes society pay a debt by committing acts of terrorism. Of course, this film is a total obscurity because no one would touch it after 9/11 – the trailer (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0213561/trailers-screenplay-E28942-314) makes it look more exciting than it actually is. A weird, half baked film that could have the makings of a cult classic… I’d be very curious to hear your respective opinions on it!!
