Description of Temptress movie: Just before she joined the cast of one of my favourite shows of all time [NYPD Blue], Kim Delaney made this epic piece of trash for Playboy Productions. It’s the story of photographer Karin Swann (Delaney) who upon returning home from an extended vacation in India finds herself possessed by Kali, an ancient goddess/demon. The primary effect of which seems to be intermittent visions of big titted strippers gyrating while decked out in Indian garb and of course a voraciously aggressive sexual appetite – so good news really for her boyfirend Chris Sarandon. But before long Kali/Kim starts offing horny dudes that hit on her and Indian mysticism expert/exorcist/killjoy Ben Cross has to offer up some technobabble and try to get the plot going in a less slutty direction…he never really manages it.
