Review:
The most underestimated German films ever before! Funny story, told in a tremendously amusing way, blended with loads of jokes. But the jokes had been partly quite “old” they are provided in a method you must have a good laugh. Besides, you find love stories, just a little bit erotic, very a great deal “holiday-feeling” and interesting actors like Karl Dall (the German comedy-king for the eighties), Jonny Juergens (daughter of Udo Juergens), Chris Roberts, Olivia Pascal (becomes later a popular TV-series star), Werner Boehm (aka Gottlieb Wendehals, “Polonaise Blankenese”), Bea Fiedler (German erotic queen), Isa Haller and last but not least Christine Schuberth (“Josefine Mutzenbacher”). Not to forget about: The movie songs is incredible – the name song (“Sunshine Reggae” / Laid Back) is just one of the best summertime hits actually! I’ve seen this film more than ten occasions, but every time it is pure fun!

one of many typical german 80s flicks. Olivia Pascal is like the sexy representation of that time: pretty, careless, confident. the girls actually are dominating, the male parts are weak, clumsy or ridiculous. Karl Dall is not only an eye-sore but the factor than drains the fun out of the film although he is supposed to be a comedian. not half bad but half funny film.
