Storyline An intellectually disabled man is unjustly accused of attacking a young girl. Disguised as a scarecrow, he hides in a cornfield, only to be hunted down and shot. Later, after it is revealed he saved the girl from a vicious dog attack, members of the search posse are killed by a mysterious scarecrow. Written by Patchy Groundfog <strat@ix.netcom.com>Nanners <nancy_pratt98531@yahoo.com>TV movie “Dark night of the Scarecrow” 1981 is the year of unremarkable clone of “Friday the 13th” and “Nightmare on elm street” in one bottle. Here only the magnitude is ten times smaller, and throughout the film there’s no blood, and if possible to show the viewer the beautiful murder of another victim, we just kindly assign the camera to a nearby site. But sorry, the topic with a bogey at the time was a very original idea. Overall the film though, and more than 30 years, but it looks tolerably well, only here television format on it as a whole reflected the destructive and in the end boring to watch and predictable. And by the way the predictability is not so bad. Isn’t for the atmosphere we watch the horrors of the ‘ 80s? And if there were original and bloody murders, the film could well remain in my memory, but alas. Disposable, predictable and a little outdated horror movie supposedly about the Scarecrow, but actually a normal clone of Jason. | |
