Description: Cyd Charisse (Singin’in the Rain, Brigadoon) and Hugh O’Brian (Ten Little Indians, The Shootist) star in this classy international thriller about an American woman vacationing in Rome whose husband disappears under mysterious circumstances. To her aid comes a handsome and courageous newspaper reporter, who is a fellow American but also happens to be her ex-lover.
Review: Placed on many Giallo lists but not really a giallo in the traditional sense of the word this mid 60’s effort is OK ,has none of the trademarks of the genre but then again its was only the early days of the genre, directed by Silvio Amadio who later made Amuck its really for those who want all the Giallo. The main actor Hugh O’Brian has also played in a wip movie called Wild Women, directed in 1970.
