Review: In this American action, comedy, romance Michael Norell witnesses a murder committed by loan shark Tommy Kanard (Alan Arkin), but doesn’t want to testify against him. Nevertheless, the prosecutor assigned to the case, Kepler (George Segal), wants to call him as a witness at Kanard’s preliminary hearing . Police Detective Carolyn Hunter (Lynn Whitfield) to whom Norell lied at the scene of the crime about what he had seen, is assigned to get him to the court house safely, but in order to get there, they must survive several attempts by Kanard’s gang to stop him.
