Description:Irina and Michael wish to become wedded – all they need to do is get her father’s approval. Considering a visit to Grand Rapids, Michigan, Michael is presented to Irina’s father Florian (George C. Scott), chief of a close-knit European community, who greets him with open arms until he starts out to uncover black household secrets. Irina’s father has been charged of participating with the Nazis in Romania, and even worse, participating in the brutal slaughter of 800 Jews in the Kayatsa mow down. Florian is devoted to his little angel, and will do everything to guard her from the truth.
