Deadly Betrayal

Because her husband, Jeff, a cameraman for an international news agency, spends so much time abroad, his beautiful wife, Donna (Nicolette Sheridan,) feels abandoned.  When Jeff is assigned to cover the war in Bosnia, Donna’s daughter’s teacher, Adam, seduces  her.  To the dismay of her jealous friend, confidant, and employer, Roz, they begin an affair.

Jeff  returns from the war in Bosnia traumatized and having accepted a job in the United States. so that he will not have to travel abroad any more  Even though he has become suspicious that something has been going on between Donna and Adam, Jeff promises to be better husband and father, a promise which Donna, who still loves him, believes will save her marriage.  When she explains this to Adam, he refuses to end the affair.  Instead, he returns to his former practice of stealing, in this case from Donna.  Donna discovers the theft, but, initially, because she does not want to expose the adultery, remains silent, protecting him. Jeff’s  suspicions are confirmed, however, when someone, anonymously, sends him a video of Donna and Adam  making love.  Outraged, he confronts Donna.  Since Jeff now knows about the affair, Donna  goes to the police.   Things start to get complicated and violent, as Donna assembles evidence against Adam.
