Description: Despite not being as exploitative as the salacious title might suggest, this still effortlessly earns its Category III rating. Whilst it has its moments of violence, the classification is earned mainly as a result of the sex scenes and frequent female nudity.
The film opens with what is soon revealed to be a flashback, as a young woman (Wing Yan Chu from Island Warriors and Bloody Beast) is chased through a restaurant, her assailant ripping her top off before the action abruptly cuts to another scene. However, this enigmatic opener, which will be revisited later in the film, becomes central to the story that unfolds.
After a brief scene introducing Jenny Yiu the focus switches to her husband, a successful Hong Kong businessman. After lying to Jenny about his whereabouts in order to spend time with his mistress, Yiu’s plans go horribly wrong when the pair are interrupted by a masked assailant. This intruder uses a baseball bat to strangle the pair, leaving them for dead.
However, when Mrs Yiu later receives a ransom note for her husband it soon becomes apparent that not everything is as simple as it seems. And this is a common motif throughout the film, as dark secrets come to the fore and murky pasts are revealed…
