  If you are a fan of Jesus (Jess) Franco, or if you are interested in how he makes his movies, or if you like naked women, then you should find this documentary to be interesting. It appears to have been made over a 10 or 11 day period while he was shooting a (then) new film (in the Philippines I think based on the fact that he asked their “hostess” at the shooting location to say a few lines in Tagalog on camera).

  Other miscellaneous thoughts about this documentary:

  1) Jess Franco has not aged well – he is uncomfortable to look at. He is missing a lot of teeth, he has gross brown age spots on his face, and he even appeared to have some open sores on his face that seemed to be oozing a small amount of fluid.

  2) Working for Franco as a camera man or (especially) as an actress is a difficult task because he is a cranky, crotchety old man who has no respect for the opinions of others.

  3) This film contains an abundant amount of full frontal nudity from several curvy actresses if you like that sort of thing. 🙂

  4) This will not be surprising to readers who have seen any of Franco’s films, but he was making up most of the story and all of the dialogue while they were shooting (no scripts whatsoever).

  I’m wondering if any of my fellow followers of this blog happen to know if the film that Franco was shooting when this documentary was being made was ever completed? If it was, does anyone know the title of the completed movie? Thanks!

  Franco? From Spain? Spain gave us two Francos but the one who considered himself God and killed millions of people gone and nobody remember his name and in addition he considered himself very smart–second mistake. Jess Franco was nobody but I watch his movies somehow and respect him for imagination.
