Description of Streets of Fire movie:A gang of motorcyclists kidnaps right in the middle of the performances of the singer Ellen Aime. Her Manager and part-time boyfriend is ready to pay money to those who will return it to asterisk. For it is not an easy affair is taken former lover Ellen – Tom Cody.

Strange, very strange movie. Walter hill (The Bronx Warriors) managed to cram it what you can – and antiutopia, and rock-n-roll, and the reference to the weterns and so forth. The result was the porridge, which will be enjoyed mostly by the connoisseurs of certain categories of genres.

Plot as such gives a clear trash does not possess a special intrigue. More attention is paid to style and atmosphere, and the then little-known actors not particularly trying to play. Defoe appearance similar to his hero, only the young from the «Shadow of the vampire». Diane lane never recognized first. from the musical numbers liked the ones that plays the heroine of the lane.

Review of Streets of Fire film: Violent biker gang kidnaps directly from the show popular rock diva . The former beau singer named Tom Cody agrees to return the girl and declares war on the wicked – bikers … Perhaps one of the most romantic fighters in the world. Joking aside , a great movie . Walter Hill never put a walk-through movies.

” Streets of Fire ” – one of my favorite movies. I would like however, to note that I have all the films Hill is like. The peasant stunning style , any of his films – classic, and at the same time, the commercial success it is only a dream .

The film takes place at all in some other time in some other place . This is a real fairy tale in the style of rock and roll . That’s it.

I’ll tell you about the film. So, the style . As I see it , Hill wildly obsessed with westerns . Almost any of his films like Western in modern processing . Here is the same . Tom Cody , a kind of cowboy, canary saves the saloon , a gang of bad guys who kidnapped . There generally are very many characters resemble characters westerns . In general , the company is very pleased with the main characters . Tom Cody – a seasoned guy who does not give himself a reason to use , knows his worth and what he wants, when it is not devoid of human feelings , not stupid mountain of muscle , but most normal people with their own style of life. Ellen Aime – a beautiful girl and a great singer , is not devoid of the “star ” of the disease , and loves the stage. Billy Fish – Manager Ellen , a guy with high self-esteem and a megalomaniac , confident that he is always the boss . McCoy – the girl – soldiers , confident , strict razgildyayka (sic) , hates the “artists” of the same kind of Fish . And finally , Raven – the main villain , the leader of biker lover loud fun (abduction of girls out there, something of the sort) .

Actors – well done . Everyone has nehilym talent and their role they play – they have to, it can be said to live . Michael Pare , by the way , pretty underrated actor, he, like Hill , success can only dream of . Still have to say about William Dafoe – probably his best role or , more precisely , his best villain (for those who do not remember – he played the ” Goblin ” in the ” Spider-Man “).

Soundtrack. He just demolish the tower . It can be divided into two parts. The first – the music , written by the legendary guitarist , master of the bottleneck Ry Cooder . Stunning rockabilly rebels and light slow theme played throughout the film , changing the mood of the film, and it fit in perfectly. The second – separate tracks . Basically – new wave ( there are even a cult band The Fixx), there are a couple of tracks rockabilly band The Blasters ( their song «Dark Night» plays in the beginning of the film “From Dusk Till Dawn “). I must say, the soundtrack here is vital , remove it and all will fly to hell .
