Description: Do you like ominously evil thrillers of Hitchcock? Young Julio, a student from Turin, like them. Even too much! He always sees conspiracies everywhere and he has no doubt that some of his friends are real killers. Of course, no one is seriously to his stories. But soon begin to occur mysterious crimes and Giulio himself only narrowly escapes death. All these events are strangely reminiscent to the plot of famous Hitchcock films … Will Julio understand what is happening and stop the killer, before it’s too late?
Review: Great movie that shows clearly and convincingly all the best for what we love great Italian. Art for Argento (Giallo and City of the Living Dead) thriller primarily in the ability to build each frame, every plan, every episode of artistic and beautiful. His picture is emphasized aesthetic, everything in it is excellent: the camera angles and camera movement, color, light, attention to detail, and after all this is clearly visible unique and offers unique architectural style.
It’s a real luxury “Giallo”, with a unique atmosphere and grotesque mockery quotational games and story finds irony and provocation. And the most important – “Do You Like Hitchcock?” By far the most optimistic and life-affirming film Dario Argento’s entire career, it will make you wonder and it will make you smile because the protagonist of the film – the audience, a connoisseur, a lover and connoisseur of exactly what so we like in the movies.
