Description: The movie begins with the dream of a blind girl, Laura Anderson, who dreams of being killed by Ricky. It turns out she is telepathically connected to him. Ricky Caldwell has been in a coma for a long time, but when he received brain signals from Laura, he came back to life. Ricky escapes from the hospital and sets out to find Laura, killing other people along the way…
“After watching the previous two parts, I didn’t even think that the third one would become a direct continuation, as at the end of the second part, the theme seemed exhausted. However, the creators showed inventiveness to bring the villain Ricky back into the movie. Moreover, this inventiveness worked out well. The film surpassed its predecessor and almost surpassed the original. It should be noted that the film is shot in a completely different style than the previous ones. It’s more sinister, and the plot is more diverse than that of an average slasher. In this case, the movie aspires to be a tense thriller. The anxiety that runs parallel to the events and reinforced by a decent musical accompaniment keeps you on edge until the very end. The downsides here are obvious: the acting is noticeably lacking, and some murders remain off-screen, though their details are usually revealed later. These flaws do mar the overall impression, but not as much as the main downside, namely – a weak ending. The finale could have been made more dynamic.”
