Description: Successful Jewish family moves from the bustling horrors of the big city in a cozy and nice suburb, there to await the next addition to their large and friendly family. However fun holiday housewarming, burdened birthday son, is suddenly interrupted when the house breaks a neo-Nazi group. That night, seeming now infinite, not all will survive.
Not even the most famous among the connoisseurs of cheap and angry underground and semi-underground sheet metal, thrash and slash, and is not the most promising of the most promising young talents of the contemporary, pretty spoiled florid the postmodern horrormeister, American Director, producer and screenwriter James Cullen Bressack in 2013 in the framework of several genre film festivals presented its last and most radical in spirit to the film “Crime of hate”, which can rightly be considered one of the most controversial and complex creations in such a sadistic subgenre of horror, torture porn.
The plot of this tape is not new and unnecessary original Shine: the basic outline it was first successfully tested the in Haneke’s “Funny games” (1997), which is a total bloody violence it was replaced by a much more spectacular transgressive psychological terror, and the peak of his chamber of horrors in the home, transformed from the outside will not in the fortress, and in the torture chamber has reached the Spanish Conquest, which, fully justifying its name, capturing the viewer intolerable cruelty and aberrant explicitelly. “Hate Crime” is already final, apocalyptic stage of evolution of such horror, and James Cullen, Bressack without a moment’s hesitation I decided to take the viewer beyond the naturalism of pseudonepa and blurred moral uncertainty showing there’s no doubt about explicit violence and right-wing political discourse, increasingly acquiring a dominant position in modern society.
Choosing as the Central anti-heroes neo-Nazi group, putting on its participants of the divine burden of the executioners and judges, the moments slipping into Upravdelami to the accompaniment of skilfully modelled unrehearsed reality of horrific torture, the Director went fine and delicate line between pure carefree exploitation of Grindhouse and dirty, deliberately catchy and defiant disgust propaganda, in this case, Pro-Nazi and neo-Nazi views of the characters, uninvited intruder in the home of an ordinary Jewish family. All constructed from torture varying degrees of sadism and perversity narrative paintings that are visually reminiscent of the creation of the infamous masters of brutal Pittsburgh snuff-movie Fred Vogel, shown not by the victims, which by definition sympathize, but from the standpoint of their rapists, these carriers revived chorionepithelioma atavistic evil. And the viewer is unwittingly becomes part of the infernal spectacle, played out by a group of mad own cruelty, drunken with the blood and maddened with total impunity radicals, in whose hands protagonistic characters wax and clay. They will easily break, are easy to mold the victim, which has the right to do whatever they want, to suppress the instinct to turn into a sobbing and bloodied something, devoid of human attributes. The finale of this bloody drama is a foregone conclusion is not so obvious as it might seem initially; James Cullen Bressack finally saves the ACE and a trump card in hand, however, accents in favor of clichéd laws of most horror films. However, the feeling of total evil and monstrous, the inevitable bloody celebration still remains, because this film is like a mirror in which was reflected the existing political, public and social context. And a mirror from James Cullen Brassica is not crooked.
