Review: “The first sexual horror film” – in relation to «La Rose Écorchée» sound too promising. Of course, by the standards of the sixties of the last century erotica here a lot, but it is not the first place in the painting by Claude Myulo (Black Venus). As for the “horrors” – that for a modern audience, and they did in the movie are missing. What’s there for the modern, and in those years made films is much more suitable for the definition of horror, rather than the “Bloody Rose”. But the word “Gothic Tale”, perhaps, give the French the most accurate tape genre characteristics. It is the “Gothic” and it “fairy tale” … Nothing to do with the reality of not having, at the most tragic nowhere, his whole story, narrative style, archetypal characters, music, entourage, etc., etc., from the first minutes, giving the viewer to understand that nothing good is waiting for him ahead – only sadness, pain and decay … “In general, all have died” – the final picture is clear almost from the titles, and it remains to be seen how beautiful it will be and Will the authors retain initially set the atmosphere for the entire tape.
