After Christine (Ashley Gallo) recovers from a stressed description, she and her Barry, move, spouse to a small town and start renovating a classic house. Rapidly she becomes fixated on a mystical secured room in the basement that she fears contains something sinister. At the same time, Barry carries on an affair with Christine’s sis, Lisa (Karen Fox), plus the strange elderly neighbors desperately wish to open the strange door for his or her own benefit.
