Description: Dracula Versus Frankenstein is a 1970 Spanish horror film that is the third in a series featuring the werewolf, Count Waldemar Daninsky, played by Paul Naschy, who also wrote the screenplay. Direction was split between two people, Tulio Demichelli and Hugo Fregonese. Filming was interrupted because of financial difficulties and also resulted in the script not being filmed as it was written.
It’s essentially a Euro-version of Plan 9 from Outer Space with aliens, led by Michael Rennie, terrorizing superstitious Earthlings by raising four REAL monsters from the dead: werewolf Waldemar Daninsky, a crappy looking Frankenstein’s monster (here inexplicably called Farancksollen’s monster), a Dracula stand-in named Count de Mierhoff, and an effete mummy named Tao-Tet, all played by Paul Naschy–at least some of the time.
