Description: 4 homeless art-school students squat in an abandoned house until they are tortured and killed by a deranged surgeon who doesn’t even show up until 50 minutes in. The poster mentions ‘Saw’ and ‘Hostel’ but come on! At least ‘Saw’ was original and ‘Hostel’ had lots of torture and gore. This movie has atmosphere and little else. 4 dipshits locked in a house for an hour isn’t scary or interesting, even if the performances are better than expected. I believed that they were scared and in pain; I just didn’t care. If this had been released in 1988, I’d probably have liked it more.
