Description:This is rarely seen 1974 film from Spanish director Jose Larraz, made around the time of Scream… And Die! and Symptoms. It involves a disturbed young woman Emma fresh out of the psych ward. There is some mild lesbian action, hallucinations, nightmarish flashbacks, some brutal murders, and a big, gloomy mansion. My Spanish is terrible so I can’t really comment beyond that. However, it has all the giallo-esque violence, sordid sexual relations, and depressing atmosphere that Larraz (Deadly Manor) is known for. Not his best work, but much better than his 80’s output. If you like Larraz at all, you will probably dig this movie.
