Never the film Sweet Whip would be released in Germany, not even cut, because no one would lend the 45-minute torso of a two and a half hours of ham. The sex scenes (if it ever can still be spoken), including the most extensively floggings, at the end of the blood sometimes only so dripping, take an incredible two-thirds of the film. The voyeuristic combination of sex and violence is thus so cannibalized even for Ishii ratios that his notorious Flower and Snake contrast like a David Hamilton movies acts.
