Description: Greasy Lake doesn’t overstay its welcome. Arty synth score meets a low-key presentation of a night in the life of three ennui-soaked teens from the 1980s. It sounds trite in summary, but the movie is neat – it doesn’t succumb to the banalities of Hollywood, and the actors have a pretty good working chemistry, a lot of the dialogue feels improvised.
Watching it probably hasn’t changed my life, but I don’t regret the time I spent.
