Description: This Eurotrash flick has been released in several different versions. This is probably the worst.It reminds me Jesus Franko’s movies like Incubus and Erotic Rites of Frankenstein All these movies is a crazy mix of gore, nudity and very simple plot.
Christine, student from London, arrives in Honduras for the reading of the will of her recently deceased father in front of other distant relatives. The house keepers look and behave very strangely (in particular periodically drink blood or show their lesbian tendencies), but Christine does not give it much importance.
Soon the night Christina begin to have nightmares in which she sees her father with a noose around his neck. Christine, thinking it is crazy, decides to learn more about her father and his relatives. A little later, plunging ever deeper into family secrets, she finds out that even relatives do not really alive, but rather are the ghosts.
Review: Princess of Eroticism is one of the best horror films of Jesús Franco, in my opinion. More precisely movies filmed in symbiosis horror and erotic films. And so erotic films Jesús Franco bungle at least a hundred. One of his most famous films “Sadomania” – has become the standard for a generation of filmmakers porn industry.
However, this movie is not as bad as in dozens of other of his works. It is as though the line and the line of erotic mysticism go hand in hand, and either did not interfere with each other, or which complement each other.
According to the filmography of the 1973 43-year-old director was in shock and took 11 (!) Movies. And not all the pancakes came out lumpy.
A young girl comes to the estate of her father, lives in a lot of strange people – whether family members, or anyone else. Woman begin to torment and nightmares and reality. Her carefree erotic obsession is becoming a disease with elements clouding of consciousness. Music is also ideal for this kind of movie, though expected. The film Virgin Among the Living Dead moves relatively evenly to the final, where dreams become reality, or vice versa. Madness acquire distinct forms, and all plunged into darkness with the same monotonous music with howls from which any normal person is not alone.
Review #2: Jesus Franco – as a prolific filmmaker, how many and scandalous. He has worked in various genres, but the blood and sex are present in each of his painting in any combination. Of course, the eye of censorship is not turned away from Jesus for a minute, so he used aliases and produces films under dozens of different names and in different versions depending on the number of sexploitation-scenes.
Here in this film was not one name: “Zombie 4“, “Christina – Princess eroticism”, “Night of the Shooting Stars” … Moreover, there are about ten different versions of the film, including how the different plot lines, and very different actors, and varying duration. In particular, in 1974 released a new version of the painting, which was added to the soft-porn scenes with Marie-France Broquet, Waldemar Wohlfaart, as well as some of the other actors who were not taking part in the filming of the original version.
I’m not sure which version turned up under my arm, but it is much more appropriate name “Virgin Among the Living Dead” The girl is walking around the hotel reception in transparent white shorts and sleeping in the buff, perhaps drawn to the virgin. By the way, here lies one of the few, but the fat plus movie: Theme boobs uncovered over. Another plus for me was the memorial service: defunct sitting, rolling his eyes and mouth open, while family members chanted read Latin proverb (well, not everyone is given to know the dates for the case of the Psalms, and sayings always appropriate).
Actually, this is good ends and begins the typical operational B-movie features: disgustingly unnatural blood, bad acting, clumsy special effects, no plot and slipshod work of the operator. All this is clear and logical: a good movie does not shoot packs a dozen a year, while the B-movie has its own audience, pays a meager budget. At the very least, the old operating movies are honest, they do not claim to universal recognition and awards. They say simply and bluntly, yes, we – the second grade, but we are watching, so we have a right to exist. And so my review is neutral: As part of the claimed genre picture is not so bad. At least for the sake of her cutie Christina can see.

From Aligator Video enterprises, extremely rare Greek label of the ’80 ‘s, the extremely rare tape titled Mia parthena anamesa stous zontanous nekrous = literal translation of the French title. Different version with no nudity, that makes this lame film even more difficult to watch.

There is one more deleted scene that your “deleted scenes” file doesn’t have. It features Alice Arno as the Princess of Eroticism who leads people into a garden and conducts an orgy! I hear it’s in the Blu-ray extras (as “alternate erotic footage”). If you could find and upload this special deleted scene, it would be greatly appreciated since I hear it’s pretty erotic!
