Description: This is probably widely considered a good film. It has been described as pretty much the same film as Dead Man Walking, except it’s a woman – Sharon Stone. It is different, but not in its use of emotional clichés and general cinematography. Acting’s great, story’s a little slow but good. It’s not exactly rare, for a reason. Also great supporting roles from Rob Morrow, Randy Quaid and Skeet Ulrich.

Between a young lawyer and his first defendant, sentenced to death, appears a growing friendship. But the period of execution – getting closer and closer …

Review: “The Last Dance” – a film that tells us about the last months of the life of prisoners sentenced to death. There is no plot, for the atmosphere of his final film guess, but the past shows us through stories and memories. But, nevertheless, the film received strong enough.

Being under the influence of drugs, 19-year-old Cindy Liggett committed a double murder. The evidence was enough, and the wine was not disputed the jury had reason to found the defendant guilty, the sentence – the death penalty. And by the end of twelve years of the sentence has not been carried out, were suspended endless appeals and complaints. But the case is finished, leaving only the last, very formal step – through the Pardon Commission to ask the governor replace the death penalty with life imprisonment. I do not even know what hooked me in this film, the highlight of his own kind. Perhaps the theme of inhumanity of the American justice system, just think about it for twelve years to know that you’re sentenced to sit in a solitary prison cell, and even some you can not imagine how much is left: a month, a year, ten years? Yes, of course, Cindy Liggett committed a brutal crime and deserves punishment, possibly even death, but for the years spent in prison, she had much time to think, rethink. It has changed beyond recognition, was a completely different person, and now this, a new, Cindy, deserves to be heard, deserves at least a respectful attitude. The punishment should come after the crime. Impressed by the history of Japan, Rich, pampered life daddy son, found the strength to resist the system. And even if he lost this fight, losing work, perspective, protection of the powerful, but the rest of his life he will be able to sleep with a clear conscience, indeed, he did everything he could, he fought to the end.

The acting is terrific. A very strong emotion, I always worry about them, sympathized with the heroes. Sharon Stone and Rob Morrow looked great in the picture, I believed every word, every emotion, every glance. And though many years have passed since the release of the film on the screen, it is not a bit lost its relevance, it is called is made to last.
