Description: For young Charlie Brewster, nothing could be better than an old horror movie late at night. If not, be sure to take a look, I do not want to impose on you, but this film is really open for you comedic horror. This unusual film, which is held, and to this day. I’m happy to see him, because when you view it, I never flinched, and my skin did not pass prickly shiver, and did not run on the back spine. I have one sitting in my room and enjoy this masterpiece, I almost screamed from the terrible moments. Here it is, a classic. It was directed by Tom Holland, who also filmed such movie as Child’s Play
At that time, the special effects have not yet been developed as it is now. All of this was complicated and hard work. Despite these unpretentious issuing false effects in the “Fright Night” I’m happy, it’s been so long ago, people were surprised, but surprised now.

Also, for fans of the TV Show MARRIED..WITH CHILDREN, the lead actress went on to play the character Marcy Darcy a couple of years later. And, the character in this film named “Evil Ed” is played by Dean Devlin–who became Roland Emmerich’s co-producer and co-founder of Centropolis Entertainment. This was about 4/5 years before STARGATE, and a full decade before INDEPENDENCE DAY. And yes, Chris Sarandon (Susan Sarandon’s baby brother) did do CHILD’S PLAY about 17 months later. I used to love this one (just to see my childhood hero, Roddy MacDowall one last time–and it was his LAST Film sadly).

Nearly perfect vampire horror/comedy. A classic that brings back many memories for us 80’s teens. I am still quoting lines from this film whenever the moment presents itself. The remake was good on it’s own, but it lacked the subtle comedic nuance of this one, it’s cinematic superior.
