Description: The Nullarbor Nymph is based on a legend/hoax of a woman who was living in the wild. The movie starts as a standard style mocumentary. There’re interviews. Different characters discuss what they think they’ve seen. Some even claim they were attacked by the Nymph. A few theories are offered as to who she is and what she’s after.
The movie doesn’t fully abandon the mocumentary style, but it shifts format quite a bit when it starts following its two main characters. There’re still documentary style interviews, but there are quite a few images that couldn’t have been captured by a camera crew following the pair. The two are driving in a remote area when one gets distracted and has a little prang. The distraction was the legendary Nymph. Sometimes she lures people to their doom using her seductive wares. Other times she is more ooga-booga.
The movie is utterly ridiculous, but it’s a tongue-in-cheek horror flick with a silly monster. And what she’s after might genuinely scare some people…
