Description: A woman goes missing. Her husband investigates the strange circumstances of the disappearance. She’d left him? Or died? He decides to find out, and from that moment his life was filled with plenty of nightmare and violence…

For your viewing pleasure: Forzani and Cattet’s astonishing follow-up to their début Amer.  Judging from many of the reviews, the film seems to have upset and infuriated quite a few sensitive individuals.  Good – this isn’t for them.  This is a cinema of dreams and ideas, a cinema of the image.  My kind of cinema.

The Strange Colour Of Your Body’s Tears is so dense with potent images and feverish vignettes that the cumulative effect is intoxicating.  Like The Saragossa Manuscript, the film segues from the main narrative thread into a series of diversions, fragments and peregrinations, folding in on one another to form a seamless whole.  My favourite film of 2014 thus far.
