Description: A decidedly sub-par mid-80s teenagers-getting-deflowered flick produced by both the Yanks and their brethren to the North, PRIVATE PASSIONS (also known as CLAIR) is the type of film that seems to be quite uncertain as to whether it’s supposed to be a comedy or drama. But there is one thing we can all agree on: it’s sole purpose is to expose a little flesh and boast a really bad soundtrack. Here, two teenaged boys go to visit a family in Austria (where the movie was actually filmed), with both sacks o’ hormones hoping to lose their virginity along the way. One lad lusts after the daughter of their host family, who is played by Susanne Ashley – and whom the camera loves to leer at during one very long bathing scene. A fourth-billed Sybil Danning is the mum of the lass, who has a trick or two up her sleeve planned for the visiting fresh young meat.
