Description:
Paul Corliss is obsessed with UFOs. So it comes as no surprise that he ends up abducted by one. Shortly afterwards, the US military destroys the alien vehicle and detains its sole surviving occupant. Soon, Paul’s freedom is violated again as the Army have him assist them in the interrogation of the creature. What sort of wisdom will the extraterrestrial bestow to Paul and what will be its significance for mankind?
“Official Denial” is the first motion picture ever to be produced by the Sci-Fi channel. It features the usual UFO lore, but is rather low on the sinister content. The simple story is delightfully idealistic and cheesy, but still well-intentioned. The major players are the lovable early digital effects and the always reliable rubber masks. Additional star power comes in the form of Dirk Denedict playing a villainous Army officer.
