Description: Generation X is a movie about the young X-Men who lived in a different mansion and were lead by The White Queen and Banshee. There are a few made up heroes and a few missing ones. This movie has superb acting, excellent casting, and ahead of it’s time special effects..hehehe, just kidding. It blows so bad that it’s kinda good.

Review: How much do not we talk about the equality of all people in the world , about our rights and freedoms , but every year we have more freedom in this very limited. We impose the ideas and goals of the state and the individual , control virtually every step . Soon, perhaps, the only places where we feel free, our dreams remain just and reason . And it is not certain that a knowledgeable and eager people will not find a way to sneak in these closed areas . Thus, the ” Generation X “.

This picture is also based on a comic book Marvel, depicting an alternative , more even tell side stories about a small group of mutants is essentially the same X-Men, only the head of them is Emma Frost ( she also manages Cerebro ) . Goals and objectives in fact she had the same – find mutants , providing them with shelter and assistance to acclimatization , the study and development of their abilities and use them for the benefit of others. Of familiar faces ( for me) , in addition to Emma Frost, Jubilee only here , but a mad scientist Thras \ Trash ( by the way , very much reminding me of Christopher Lloyd ) .

At its heart , this is the first film adaptation of the comic book X-Men animated series , immediately after the “X-Men ” in 1992 . And the way the story is quite different, rather than for all subsequent pictures. For the most part it’s still an entertaining movie , made in the genre of science fiction. The idea of penetration into the dreams of others to impose ideas on the adoption of a decision (in this case the purchase of a product ) , formed gradually Trask fully absorb it , going so far as his main aim is to produce mutant DNA , so that later , instilling its own, to be able to penetrate into other people’s dreams are not using the machine, and their own capabilities. In general, the film resembles a mixture of such films as “The Vision ” (1984 ), ” A Nightmare on Elm Street ” and released much later “Elements” (2010 ) .

Even the mutants , in fact, moved here by the wayside. The scenes with the use of their abilities here can be counted on one hand. This is primarily a science fiction film with a variety of artful arrangements of long and incomprehensible formulas and unpronounceable terms. But with all this history is not without its comic tone , due to which the film is not taken with the seriousness which , in theory there should be. In this regard , the “Generation X” , perhaps we could compare with the ” Back to the Future .”

If you think about it, it is also a satire on contemporary society . Advertise now literally everywhere. Manufacturers are ready for everything , that people are only buying their products. Would have their will – and in the dreams would we planted a craving for purchases. On the other hand it is so-called freedom . We say that a person has the right to freedom . And if you look sober ? Laws, regulations , codes , taxes, and so on – in fact , freedom is limited only by the few. And if the right people will learn to penetrate even in dreams, the subconscious mind – where is the freedom? Have a lot to think about.
