Description: Oh yeah. This one’s got it all folks. Rape? Check. Gang rape? Check. Murder? Check. Burning/disfiguring a child? Check. Ummmmmmmmm, comedy and laughs? Make that a big double check. Most of the comedy’s actually separate from the darkside”, but the last 30 minutes or so provide it in full mixture.
The plot involves a not so lucky truck driver (the great Anthony Wong) who wants nothing more than to do well by his son and even better (sexually) by his spouse. His wife wants things a little more quickly and decides to gamble with their savings (and of course, loses it all). She then decides to borrow the cash from a loan shark (an ex boyfriend’s brother), but can’t pay it back when they change the rules of “interest”. She’s then forced into prostitution and the rest of the family soon follow into other “misfortune” due to her lack of payment. The plot takes a late turn when the trucker husband, his sister and an ex serial killer neighbor decide to take revenge on the antagonists.
