Description:This is a severely underrated movie in the pantheon of Roger Corman backed New World drive-in hits of the 70s. Ol’ battle-axe Cloris Leachman plays a 50s hairdresser who flips out and goes on the lam with a group of family and friends, in what I could only describe as a cross between a road-trip movie and American Grafitti. Featuring an all-star cast with Jim Backus (Mr. Magoo!), Sally Kirkland, Stuart Whitman (Delta Fox), Harry Northup, Dick Miller, and Ralph Malph from Happy Days, this movie is hilarious and features a bad-ass soundtrack of golden rock n’ roll oldies. My rip comes from the R1 New Concorde DVD, and features a commentary track from director Jonathan Demme, the trailer, and an interview with Demme and Corman. Enjoy!

Never cease to amaze, how could I have missed this, a Corman / Demme colab. All the makings are right there, plus, the cars, the scenery, the music, ahhh, oh yeah, and the babes and boobies. What a fun set to have been a part of I bet. Kudos Wip.
